Water Day at Preschool

Today was the last day of Preschool. We're going to miss it this summer, but we are excited for next year (hopefully we won't be living too far away). The kids got to have a Water Day. Everyone wore their swimsuits and we had fun playing in the wet sand, down the "water slide" and just getting wet. Miss Amber made a yummy fruit salad (we brought the apples) and we finished off the day with dancing to "Splish Splash". We loved our teachers and the friends we made!

Teddy Bear Picnic

Today at preschool was a very fun fieldtrip. We had a Teddy Bear Picnic! All of the kids brought a favorite lovey (Brailyn brought Big and Little Minnie of course)and we had a little parade with strollers and wagons to the grass area for our lunch. Then we had stories about bears and a game of t-ball. Grandma even came with us. We will miss preschool over the summer, but we are so glad we have made such good friends and learned so much!

Brailyn the Ballerina

This summer we are going to put Brailyn in Ballet class at the Gilbert Rec Center. She loves to dance and is really excited about being a ballerina. One of her favorite things to do is dress up in her Fancy Nancy tutu, rip the cushions off the couch and bounce/dance/twirl to classical (Ballet) music. And sometimes she gets Momma to do bubbles for her (the Gymboree bubbles that last FOREVER). I love having a girl.

Take Me Out to the Ball Game...

Last night Daddy and his friends took their kids, the 3 and up ones, to the baseball game. It was lots of fun and a late night. The kids had a great time cheering with the pom-poms and just being with their dads. I think Brailyn liked being with her buddies too.

Update

We are now the proud owners of 6 little chicks. Clint built a big chicken coop on the side of the house. So if you want some fresh organic eggs, come on over!


Brailyn LOVES computer games. Especially Mickey's Clubhouse. She's getting pretty good at her computer skills. We're getting an old iMac from my folks with lots of cool reading/math skills games. She could be on the computer all day if I let her. Gets it from her daddy:) and don't you love the hair! That's the one not so great thing about curly hair. Tangles.
