Valentine's Day

Brailyn is a lucky girl to have a birthday so close to Valentine's Day. She truly is my sweetheart, and I love celebrating my beautiful girl during the month of February!

This year she got a fancy purse for her sunglasses, The Princess and the Frog DVD, and of course the Special plate for her heart-shaped pancakes:)

This year we decided to try something new, so we had a swimming party, IN FEBRUARY! We heated up the pool (tried to at least-didn't start soon enough, but the jacuzzi was warm!), made s'mores, and had fun in the sun. Brailyn loved being with her friends and family and the wonderful gifts, of course!

Brailyn is 5 Years Old!

Holy cow! My little girl is a 5 year old now! She's going to start kindergarten in the fall, and she has started reading in preschool. Whew! She is growing up fast. Brailyn continues to be a light in the lives of those around her. She is kind, sweet, happy, friendly, excited to live and learn, and she loves so freely. She is a superstar in school and primary. She is memorizing the 13 Articles of Faith (already knows #1-3), recites poems every month in school, zips through her new reading books every week, is getting better at her bridge and cartwheels in tumbling, loves ballet class, and her Let's Play Music class is so much fun! At home she loves to play with her Princesses and Barbies, her Playmobile sets, dress up with Parker and Emmie, and she loves to jump on Jaxon's trampoline. I can't describe how much I love this little girl. She is my everything, and I am so proud of her and the girl she is growing into. I am humbled and amazed at all she can do, and I hope to help her become the virtuous, loving, beautiful daughter of God that she is. I love you Brailyn!
