Disneyland, one last time!

Since our annual passes were about to expire for the year, we headed over for another trip. Even though it was the 5th trip so far, including a week-long stay in November, we were excited! And lucky for us, Momma had a boot for her stress fracture, so we didn't have to wait in line:)

We finally got Brailyn the little parasol she's been waiting for:) Every girl wants a fancy umbrella!

Some fun things we've been up to lately:

Brailyn LOVES her Cinderella pop-up book. It's a very elaborate and beautiful book she got from Barnes and Noble, thanks to Grandpa Bill's gift card:)


Brailyn has a very big family of stuffed animals. She loves them all, and they all get turns being her night time lovies.

I love this picture of my crazy girl! We went with the Price family to Grimaldi's Pizzeria for Amber's 21st birthday. Brailyn sure loves her aunts!

Valentine's Day

Brailyn is a lucky girl to have a birthday so close to Valentine's Day. She truly is my sweetheart, and I love celebrating my beautiful girl during the month of February!

This year she got a fancy purse for her sunglasses, The Princess and the Frog DVD, and of course the Special plate for her heart-shaped pancakes:)

This year we decided to try something new, so we had a swimming party, IN FEBRUARY! We heated up the pool (tried to at least-didn't start soon enough, but the jacuzzi was warm!), made s'mores, and had fun in the sun. Brailyn loved being with her friends and family and the wonderful gifts, of course!

Brailyn is 5 Years Old!

Holy cow! My little girl is a 5 year old now! She's going to start kindergarten in the fall, and she has started reading in preschool. Whew! She is growing up fast. Brailyn continues to be a light in the lives of those around her. She is kind, sweet, happy, friendly, excited to live and learn, and she loves so freely. She is a superstar in school and primary. She is memorizing the 13 Articles of Faith (already knows #1-3), recites poems every month in school, zips through her new reading books every week, is getting better at her bridge and cartwheels in tumbling, loves ballet class, and her Let's Play Music class is so much fun! At home she loves to play with her Princesses and Barbies, her Playmobile sets, dress up with Parker and Emmie, and she loves to jump on Jaxon's trampoline. I can't describe how much I love this little girl. She is my everything, and I am so proud of her and the girl she is growing into. I am humbled and amazed at all she can do, and I hope to help her become the virtuous, loving, beautiful daughter of God that she is. I love you Brailyn!

Fun in the Fall

Daddy and Brailyn went to the park the other day, and there were a TON of leaves on the ground. So Daddy ran to the house to get his rake and made a leaf pile for Brailyn to play in. Let's just say she had fun:)

On the Way to Preschool...

This is a conversation that Brailyn and her buddy Jaxon had in the car on the way to preschool (Ashley and I carpool, and she told me about this).

Jaxon: "I lost my tooth!"

Brailyn: (sadly) "WOW! I never even lost one tooth!"

J: "Has anyone ever knocked one out? That's what happened to me. My cousin knocked it out."

B: (sadly) "No...no one has ever knocked one of my teeth out."

J: " Well...maybe my cousin would knock one of your teeth out for you!"

B: "Maybe....that would be so so great!"

Kids are just too funny sometimes:)
