14 1/2 Months
Well baby girl, we’re here in Prague and you have grown up so much. You are so much fun and we love you more each day. You walk so well now…all over our apartment. And you love to play “squirrel” (as dada says)- you walk over to your toys (ie blocks) and move them to the other end of the room. One at a time. Or you gather all of your crayons and put as many of them as you can in one hand. You also love to bring toys to us, or clothes from the suitcases. You drag them out and try to get dressed or hang them up to dry. Then of course you put them all away. So cute. You love to go on hikes outside along the river or around Prague in your backpack. And parks are our favorite thing to visit all over Europe. You just walk around gathering sticks or rocks, look at the doggies passing by and yelp at them. And babies, you wave at every baby in a stroller we pass on the sidewalk. Such a happy and friendly baby. You love the woman that cleans our room and have made many friends on trains (remember the babushka you played with all the way from Berlin to Krakow. You have said your first words. We are sure that you say “all done” and today while watching Elmo on the internet you said “peekaboo” clear as day. you also can say “two” and “three” when we count the numbers in the elevator. You love counting the ladybugs in your book “5 Little Ladybugs” and pointing to them as we count. Wow. We can’t believe how fast you are becoming a big girl. You have officially refused to eat baby food. Mama bought a bunch of organic food in Berlin and you wouldn’t eat them!! You’ll still eat the breakfast jars, and the spinach and potatoes, thank goodness. But you would much rather eat the frozen veggies (broccoli, carrots, corn) chicken, cheese, bread and tomatoes. I swear you could survive on cheese and tomatoes. But you’re a great eater. Can’t complain. We can’t wait to have more adventures in Tampa this summer!! Love, Mama and Dada
